Catherine Evel

Catherine has been in the mortgage industry since 1999 and founded Homestead Financial — Dominion Lending Centres in 2009, building the brokerage on a reputation for honest, straightforward advice. As Principal Broker and Owner she leads the firm, which has funded more than 2,500 mortgages for Ontario families.

Catherine works alongside her son, Richard Hopkins, who leads the brokerage's reverse mortgage practice. Between them, the family team brings over 35 years of combined lending experience to every client's situation — and the same standard applies to everyone: clear numbers, plain English, and no pressure.
